Now, for my blog destination: South Padre Island, Texas!

I’m lucky enough to live right down the road from a gorgeous Island– South Padre Island, Texas. It’s also one of the settings for my novel, Moonlight on the Palms. If you like warm tan sand, a balmy breeze that whips up every day around 4pm and cools things off, warm water, and plenty of beach space, this is your escape!

Here’s a photo we took on a visit…

Some palms on the way to the beach wave under a rare, cloud filled sky.

If you want to win an e-book copy of Moonlight on the Palms, a gothic romance novel coming from Astraea Press this month (May), just comment on my blog post and you’ll be entered in the drawing to win! I’m also giving away an e-book copy of Magnolian, my first gothic romance novel set in Alabama. I’ll announce the winners on May 24th.

Now, continue the blog hop and trip around the world by visiting Sue Brown’s wonderful author site!

I'm not a warm weather guy (and don't mind winters in Michigan or the summers among the Great Lakes), but, every once in a while, I dream I'd retire to a hut on a beach along the Gulf of Mexico, with a forever-full refrigerator of ice-cold oat soda, and, of course, 10 gallons of sunscreen for my pink skin…Noah B.
